You're chatting with an AI

The Cervito associate, which a merchant may give a name (for example, "Sarah"), is an artificial-intelligence software assistant, not a human. It is identified as AI in the chat window. It answers using the merchant's product catalog and store information, and it can occasionally be inaccurate. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and its recommendations are automated commercial suggestions made on the store's behalf, not a personal human endorsement.

Not professional advice

The associate is a shopping assistant only. It does not provide medical, health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. For anything that needs a professional (a doctor, lawyer, vet, or financial adviser), please consult one. Always confirm product-safety information against the manufacturer's labeling.

Merchant responsibility

We are responsible for telling your shoppers they are talking to an AI. Under Article 50(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), that duty falls on the provider of the AI system — that is The Growth Locker FZC — and it is designed into the product: the chat window carries a persistent "AI" badge, labelled "AI assistant" for screen readers in the shopper's language, on the associate's identity. You do not have to add it, and you must not disable or obscure it. What remains yours is lawfully deploying the associate on your storefront: the lawful basis for the processing, any cookie or ePrivacy consent, a privacy notice that names Cervito as a processor, and any further disclosure your shoppers' jurisdiction imposes on you as the deployer.
